Determination of Drug Concentration in Tablet Samples Using Dissolution Testing

The Department of Biotechnology organized a Hands-on Training on “Determination of Drug Concentration in Tablet Samples Using Dissolution Testing” on 12.09.2026. Ms. M. Abinaya, IV/BIOTECH, and Ms. B. Monisha, IV/BIOTECH, served as the resource persons for the programme. They provided practical insights into dissolution testing, determination of drug concentration in tablet samples, and the importance of dissolution studies in pharmaceutical quality control. The session offered a valuable hands-on learning experience and enhanced the technical knowledge and practical skills of the participants. A total of Biotechnology students participated and benefited from the training programme. The event was highly informative and useful in developing industry-oriented skills and awareness among the students, particularly in pharmaceutical analysis and quality control.
