Civistra-2k25, A National Level Technical Symposium
The Department of Civil Engineering, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal organized A National Level Technical Symposium “CIVISTRA 2K25” on 21.03.2025, Friday in the Mechanical Seminar Hall. Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. The function was conducted in the august presence of Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director.
Dr.A.Jegan, Principal addressed the students. Ms.G.Anusha, Head, Department of Civil Engineering, welcomed the gathering. The chief guest Rtn.Er.E.N.SURENDRAN, B.E., Former Divisional manager and Head of Ashok Leyland, Driver Training Institute, Namakkal Chairman, Road safety – Rotary International – District 2982 shared insights from his experiences across various fields.
The students of Civil Engineering had a productive and enriching experience during the session. Everyone actively participated in the event and enhanced their skills. The event featured with technical events such as Paper presentation, Field Survey Adventure, Architectural Balance, Engineering Linkup and Fun Activities. A workshop on “A Holistic approach to preparedness, Response, Recovery and Mitigation was conducted by Mr.L.Eraiarul, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering. Students from various colleges enthusiastically attended the symposium and contributed to its success by winning enticing cash prizes.
