Chithirai Kani Celebration – 2025
Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal celebrated the “Tamil New Year- 2025” on 11th April 2025, Friday. The celebration began with a special Pooja, offering prayers and seeking the divine blessings of all Gods and Goddesses. The highlight of the event was the traditional “Chithirai Kani”, symbolizing hopes for prosperity and good fortune in the year ahead.
The auspicious rituals were conducted in the esteemed presence of the Secretary, Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, the Executive Director, Mr. M. Karthik and the Principal, Dr. A. Jegan. The occasion was further graced by the presence of all the Deans, Heads of various Departments, Coordinators, Faculty Members and Students, whose participation made the celebration truly memorable.
