Webinar on “Next generation of mechanical virtual learning tools”

The Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a webinar on “Next Generation of Mechanical Virtual Learning Tools” on 10 January 2026 (Academic Year 2025–2026). The session was delivered by Dr. S. Boopathi, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Muthayammal Engineering College, Namakkal. The webinar highlighted the importance of virtual laboratories in mechanical engineering education and explained how to create and implement virtual labs online. Live demonstrations of sample virtual lab applications in the Strength of Materials and Fluid Mechanics laboratories were presented, helping students understand experiments through virtual simulation. Faculty members and students actively participated in the session, making it an informative and engaging learning experience. A total of 57 students benefited from this webinar.
