Tenz++ Bionite ’25, One Day National Level Technical Symposium
Department of Biotechnology, Biosel Association organized a National Level Technical Symposium titled “Tenz++ Bionite ’25” on March 21, 2025. The program was inaugurated in the ISDTP seminar hall in the august presence of Dr. P. Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions & Managing Director of Selvam Group of Companies, Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions and Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director of Selvam College of Technology.
Dr.A.Jegan delivered the Principal address and Dr. M. Thenmozhi, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, welcomed the gathering. Ms. G. Surega, a student of final year cum Secretary of the Biosel Association, introduced the chief guest.
The chief guest, Dr. K. K. Vignesh, Scientist I, R&D, Invitrogen Biosciences, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Bangalore, shared his insights on the concept of Western blotting. Mr.K.Kirubhakaran, Assistant Professor, conducted a workshop on “Biofuel from Marine Algae”. More than 100 students actively participated in the workshop.
More than 200 Participants from various colleges enthusiastically engaged in paper presentations, poster presentations, and various non-technical competitions. At the end of the event, Ms.S.Rithika, a student of third-year cum Joint Secretary of the Biosel Association delivered the vote of thanks. The chief guest appreciated the participants and distributed prizes to the winners.
