Teachers Day 2019 Celebrations.

Selvam College of Technology, Organized three glorious events such as the Teacher’s Day celebration, Valedictory Function for 10 days IEP and 3days FDP on 05th  September 2019. Teacher’s day was organized with an aim to honor all the Faculties and Valedictory was arranged as a sense of appreciation to all the participants of IEP and FDP. The function started with a Prayer Song as a tribute to God Almighty.

In this function Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman, Selvam College of Technology, presided over the function, Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary, Selvam College of Technology Felicitated the gathering. The Principal Dr.A.Natarajan delivered the Principal Address, Dr.P.Manimegalai, Dean-Academic delivered the Dean-Academic address in the occasion and The Students of SCT delivered the Welcome Address, Dr.R.SasiKumar, Research Director delivered a keynote address.

Mr.M.R. Shivaprakash BA (Hons), UK Regional Director – International Liaison delivered the Chief Guest Address function. He quoted a few great things about a good teacher. “A Teacher who simplifies is a genius” was specifically pointed by him.

Then the event was presided by the students with Cultural activities as Skits and Speech. And then the Certificates for IEP and FDP were distributed by our Chief guest Mr.M.R. Shivaprakash, UK Regional Director – International Liaison, Mrs.Vinola Honarine Prakash, Head of Language and Linguistics, Worldwide Education, Salem and all the dignitaries of SCT.

Finally Mr. N. Prasannan, Head – Career Development Cell delivered the Vote of Thanks. The event was entirely successful.
