Spark Association Inaugural Function and Hands on Session on “Advanced Industrial Automation and Concepts behind Industry 4.0”
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal organized Spark Association Inaugural Function and Hands on Session on “Advanced Industrial Automation and Concepts behind Industry 4.0” on 09.08.2025, Saturday in the EEE Seminar Hall. Dr.S.Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. The function was conducted in the august presence of Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director, Selvam College of Technology.
Dr.S.Ramabalan, Principal addressed the students. Mr.M.Ravichandran, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, welcomed the gathering. The Resource Person, Er.R.Sasikumar, Director – Technical, SARA Control and Automation, Coimbatore, highlighted the Automation Panel Manufacturing, PLC Fundamentals, VFD drives, Classification of Pneumatic Systems, Application of Pneumatic/Hydraulic Systems, Sensors, IIOT & Industry4.0, Cyber Security in Industrial Automation and also provides the Hands on experience in PLC. The students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering department had a productive and enriching experience during the session. Everyone actively participated in the Hands on Session and enhanced their skills.
