SMARTPHONE SERVICING BASICS

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a technical workshop on Smartphone Servicing Basics on 07.02.2026 as part of its skill development initiatives. The workshop was conducted by M. Dinesh Kumar, an alumni (2025 Batch) and professional mobile service technician working at MD’s Mobile Service Centre, located in Namakkal. The session provided students with practical insights into smartphone hardware components, fault identification techniques, and basic servicing procedures. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ hands-on technical knowledge, improve troubleshooting skills, and create awareness about career opportunities in mobile servicing and electronics maintenance. The program served as a valuable platform for II ECE students to interact with an industry professional and understand real-time service challenges and solutions.
