SMART WAREHOUSE USING IOT
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a hands-on training program on Smart Warehouse using IoT on 28.02.2026 at the DSP Laboratory as part of its initiative to promote practical learning in emerging technologies. The training session was conducted by Er. R. Rajeshkumar, M.E., Chief Executive Officer, CAD Designs, Karur. The program introduced students to the concept of IoT- enabled smart warehouse systems, focusing on automation, real-time monitoring, and efficient inventory management. The resource person demonstrated how sensors, microcontrollers, and IoT platforms can be integrated to track goods, monitor environmental conditions, and optimize warehouse operations. Students gained practical exposure to IoT- based data collection, device connectivity, and cloud-based monitoring systems used in modern logistics and supply chain management. The training aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge of IoT applications in industrial environments and to familiarize them with smart automation techniques used in warehouses. The session served as an interactive learning platform for II Year ECE students, helping them understand how IoT technology can transform traditional storage and inventory systems into intelligent and efficient smart warehouses.
