Seminar on “Recent Advancements in Solar Cell Technologies for Enhanced Energy Conservation”
The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on Emerging Materials in Engineering on 12.07.25. The resource person, Dr. M. Vinoth, Associate Professor & Research Associate, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, highlighted innovations such as perovskite solar cells, tandem structures, bifacial modules, and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). Participants gained insights into advanced materials, manufacturing techniques, and energy storage integration for improved solar efficiency. Followed by a live visit to the institution’s solar panel unit. Nearly 55 students benefited.
