Pongal Celebration – 2026
The Women Empowerment Cell, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, organized the Pongal Celebration – 2026 on 13.01.2026 (Tuesday) with the blessings of our former Chairman, Dr. G. Selvaraj. The celebration was inaugurated by Dr. S. Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions and Managing Director of Selvam Group of Companies, and Mrs. Jayam Selvaraj, Trustee of Selvam Educational Institutions, in the august presence of Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary, Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director, and Dr. S. Ramabalan, Principal.
A special Pongal Pooja was conducted, during which a delicious Pongal dish was prepared and shared with all the employees and students. The celebrations continued with traditional games and events such as Pot Breaking, Tug of War etc., in which the students and the staff members enthusiastically participated. The Deans, the Heads of various Departments, the Coordinators, the staff members,ISDTP trainers,IDC Team members and the students graced the occasion in ethnic attire and gave their memorable presence in this auspicious occasion.
