Outreach programme – Food service to the road siders Paramathi-Velur, Namakkal.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized an Outreach Programme aligned with SDG 2 – Zero Hunger at Paramathi-Velur, Namakkal. During the programme, students distributed freshly prepared food to roadside beneficiaries, including homeless and underprivileged individuals, addressing immediate hunger needs. The initiative promoted compassion, humanitarian values, and social responsibility among students while making a positive contribution to the local community. The outreach programme was well received and created a meaningful social impact, fostering a strong sense of teamwork, responsibility, and service-mindedness among the participants. Nearly 60 students participated, making the event a meaningful and impactful experience.
