National Level Technical Symposium and Project Contest

“BEETRONIX-2K25” on 25.10.2025

            The Departments of Biomedical Engineering (BME), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) of Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, jointly organized a One-Day National Level Technical Symposium “BEETRONIX-2K25” on 25th October 2025 at the Mechanical Seminar Hall. Dr. S. Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions, Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director, and Dr. S. Ramabalan, Principal of SCT. Dr.K.Vidyavathi, Head of the Department of ECE, welcomed the gathering.

            The chief guest, Mr. V. Pragadheeswaran, Founder Director of Aries Biomed Technology Private Limited, Coimbatore, delivered an inspiring address on “The Growing Importance of Biomedical Fields in Health Care Systems.” He also enlightened students about current placement opportunities and the scope of emerging biomedical technologies.

            The symposium featured various technical events such as Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Circuit Debugging, and Technical Quiz, along with non-technical events like Short Film, Connections, and Treasure Hunt. The participants enthusiastically took part in both technical and fun activities, showcasing creativity and innovation. A total of 306 participants from various engineering and technology institutions across the country took part in the symposium. Winners were awarded cash prizes and certificates. The event concluded successfully with the participation of department heads, faculty members, and students, making the symposium a memorable and enriching experience for all.
