
National Conference on Emerging Trends in Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering and Sustainable Sciences – NCEEEBS 2026
The Departments of BME, ECE, EEE, and Science and Humanities of Selvam College of Technology jointly organized a National Conference on Emerging Trends in Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering and Sustainable Sciences (NCEEEBS 2026) on 14 March 2026 (Saturday) at 11.00 AM in the ISDTP Seminar Hall.
The conference was presided over by Dr. S. Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, The event was graced by the presence of Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions, and Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director.
Dr. S. Ramabalan, Principal, Dr. A. Jegan, Vice Principal, and Dr. K. Vidyavathi, Dean (Academics) of Selvam College of Technology, felicitated the function. Mr. M. Ravichandran, Head of the Department of EEE, delivered the welcome address.
The Chief Guests, Er. B. Raghavendran and Er. R. Sasikumar, Directors – Technical of SARA Controls and Automation, delivered special addresses and shared valuable insights on current industrial practices, emerging automation technologies, EVs, and the essential skill sets expected from engineering graduates in today’s industry. They encouraged students to enhance their practical knowledge, innovation capabilities, and industry readiness to meet the evolving demands of the automation sector.
The participants enthusiastically presented their research papers during the conference sessions. A total of 300 participants from various engineering and technology institutions across the country took part in the conference.
The event concluded successfully with the active participation of department heads, faculty members, and students, making the conference a memorable and enriching academic experience for all. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mrs. R. Babysalini, Head of the Department of Chemistry, who expressed her gratitude to the management, principal, chief guests, Deans, Heads, faculty members, participants, and students for their support in making the conference a grand success.
