MoU Signing Ceremony with SARA Controls and Automation
Selvam College of Technology (Autonomous), Namakkal, organized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony with SARA Controls and Automation, Coimbatore, on Saturday, 14 March 2026, with the objective of strengthening industry–institution collaboration and enhancing student employability.
The programme was conducted in the august presence of Dr. S. Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions and Managing Director of Selvam Group of Companies; Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary; Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director; Dr.S.Ramabalan, Principal; and Dr.A.Jegan, Vice Principal.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed between Selvam College of Technology and SARA Controls and Automation to establish a long-term academic and industrial partnership. The collaboration will focus on providing industry-oriented training, internships, skill development programmes, project guidance, and placement opportunities for students across various engineering disciplines.
Addressing the gathering, Er. B. Raghavendran and Er. R. Sasikumar, Directors – Technical of SARA Controls and Automation, shared valuable insights on current industrial practices, automation technologies, and the skill sets expected from engineering graduates in the modern industry. They encouraged students to develop practical knowledge, innovation skills, and industry readiness to meet the growing demands of the automation sector.
