Selvam College of Technology Mega Alumni Meet “Natpae Inaindhidu” 2025.

Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, successfully hosted the Mega Alumni Meet–2025 on 28 December 2025 at 10.30 a.m. in the Open Auditorium, bringing together alumni from various batches for a memorable and enriching reunion.

The event was graced by the renowned actor Mr. Sathish Muthukrishnan, who attended as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was conducted with the blessings of Dr. P. Selvaraj, Founder Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions and Managing Director of the Selvam Group of Companies. The programme was presided over by Dr. S. Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions and Managing Director of the Selvam Group of Companies, along with Mrs. Jayam Selvaraj, Trustee of Selvam Educational Institutions. Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions, and Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director of Selvam College of Technology, felicitated the gathering.

The welcome address was delivered by Mr. A. Soban Raj, President of the SCT Alumni Association and Operational Manager at Flipkart India Pvt. Ltd. Mrs. R. Tamilselvi, Secretary of the SCT Alumni Association, formally introduced the Chief Guest. Dr. S. Ramabalan, Principal of Selvam College of Technology, addressed the gathering and highlighted the institution’s continued engagement with its alumni community.

In his inspiring address, Mr. Sathish Muthukrishnan shared valuable insights from his personal and professional journey, emphasizing perseverance, dedication, and self-belief. He educates the moral values and insights to the younger generations. His speech was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience. Alumni fondly reminisced about their college days and shared meaningful feedback, reflecting their strong connection with the institution.

Various events were organized as part of the programme, including a Wall of Fame, Legacy Notes to the Next Generation, and alumni product promotions showcased through dedicated stalls. An Alumni Achiever Box was provided for alumni who wished to share their accomplishments. Departmental roadmaps were displayed, and a Then vs. Now photo challenge featuring alumni students was also exhibited.

The event was further enlivened by a series of vibrant cultural performances that added colour and enthusiasm to the celebration. As part of the institution’s green initiative, more than 1,000 tree saplings were distributed to the alumni during the programme.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. A. Pradeep, Member of the SCT Alumni Association and Partnership Manager at Behindwoods, Chennai. The Mega Alumni Meet–2025 witnessed the participation of over 1,500 alumni along with their families, making it a grand success and a truly memorable occasion for the Selvam College of Technology community.
