Industrial Visit – Visaka Industries, A.C. Division I, Paramathi, Namakkal

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Industrial Visit to Visaka Industries, A.C. Division I, Paramathi, Namakkal, to provide students with practical exposure to industrial manufacturing processes. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-time industrial practices. During the visit, students were learned about the manufacturing process of asbestos cement (A.C.) products, quality control measures, safety practices, and modern production technologies adopted by the industry. Industry experts explained various stages of production, machinery operations, and plant layout, offering valuable insights into large-scale industrial operations. The visit enhanced students’ understanding of industrial workflow, process optimization, and workplace safety, while also creating awareness about career opportunities in the manufacturing sector. Overall, the industrial visit proved to be an enriching learning experience, strengthening students’ industry readiness and practical knowledge. A total of 57 students benefited from the industrial visit.
