Industrial Visit to BSNL Exchange Office

The Department of Information Technology, Selvam College of Technology, organized an industrial visit to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Exchange Office, Salem on 07.02.2026 for II Year IT students. The officials at BSNL provided a detailed explanation of telecommunication systems, network operations, switching technology, and the functioning of exchange offices. The visit emphasized practical exposure, enabling students to understand real-time communication processes and equipment used in the industry. Nearly all the participating students benefited from this informative and industry-oriented experience.
