Inauguration Ceremony for the Commencement of the I-Year classes 2025.

The Inaugural ceremony for the first-year students of Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal was held on 03.09.2025, Wednesday with great enthusiasm. The event was presided over by Dr. S. Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions and Managing Director of the Selvam Group of Companies, along with Mrs. Jeyam Selvaraj, Trustee of Selvam Educational Institutions.

Dr. B. Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions and     Mr. M. Karthik, Executive Director delivered special addresses, motivating the students and emphasizing the importance of discipline, innovation and academic excellence in shaping their future.

The Principal of the college, Dr. S. Ramabalan, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the vision and mission of the institution and assuring parents of the holistic development of their wards.

The Chief Guests of the program were a group of prominent alumni from various disciplines of Selvam College of Technology, who delivered their special address. In their speech, they shared their professional journey, highlighted how the college played a vital role in shaping their career and motivated the students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution. Their words of wisdom and real-life experiences served as a source of inspiration for the young learners.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of Controller of Examination, Deans, Heads of all the Departments, Coordinators, Faculty Members, Students and their parents, making this occasion a memorable and inspiring start to the academic journey of the first-year students.
