Hands-On Training on Hemodialysis Machine and kit Assembly

Selvam College of Technology(Autonomous), the Department of Biomedical Engineering, successfully organised a hands-on training program on “Haemodialysis Machine and kit Assembly” on 31.1.2026. The training session was handled by the resource person, Ms. M. Susmitha, B.E., Service Engineer, Medingers Healthcare, Erode and Mr.Kavinraj, Dialysis Technician, MM Hospital, Namakkal . The Hands-On Training session focused on dialysis kit assembly, including blood tubing set connections, dialyzer handling, priming process, and safety precautions to be followed during operation. Students actively participated and gained hands-on experience under expert supervision. Real-time troubleshooting scenarios and maintenance tips were also discussed. The program was highly informative and nearly 105 students got benefitted.
