Guest Lecture – “Mind Meets Machine: Emerging Neurotechnologies in Psychological Treatment”

The Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, organized a guest lecture titled “Mind Meets Machine: Emerging Neurotechnologies in Psychological Treatment” on 13th September 2025 in the Mechanical Seminar Hall.

Dr. K. Vidyavathi, Head of the Department of ECE, and Dr. G. Selvaraj, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, warmly welcomed the gathering. The session was graced by Dr. N. Gnanamanikandan, Senior Consultant and Clinical Psychologist at Neuro Foundation, Salem, who was the esteemed guest speaker. Dr. Gnanamanikandan delivered an insightful lecture on the advancements in neurotechnologies and their applications in psychological treatment.

The lecture was attended by nearly 300 students from the II, III, and IV years of both ECE and Mechanical Engineering departments, providing them with valuable knowledge on the intersection of neuroscience and engineering.
