FDTP on EC6702 – Optical Communication and Networks.

Objectives:

This Faculty Development Training Programme is intended to provide an opportunity for faculty members  who are working in AICTE approved Institutions affiliated to Anna University. This programme will cover the syllabus provided for affiliated Engineering colleges for the Undergraduate course on EC 6702 Optical Communication and Networks. It will provide a wide exposure to the fundamental concept of Optical fibre, Modal Concepts, Signal degradation, Optical Sources such as LED, Laser Diode, Coupling Process and Receiver performance.

Registration

• Faculty members from affiliated Engineering colleges can apply.
• No registration fee for the participants.
• The number of participants is restricted to 25 only.
• Participants will be selected on First Come and First Served basis.
• Priority will be given to young faculty.

No TA/DA will be provided. Accommodation will be provided to the participants come from outstation at free of cost subject to availability.
