Developing Smart Health Care Monitoring Systems Using Tinkercad
Selvam College of Technology, Department of Biomedical Engineering, successfullyorganized a Hands-on training program on “Developing Smart Health Care Monitoring Systems Using Tinkercad”.The primary objective of this hands-on training program was to provide students with practical exposure to designing and simulating smart healthcare monitoring systems, understanding virtual circuit components, sensor integration, and real-time health parameter monitoring using simulation tools.
The training session was handled by the resource person, Ms.D.Elanseela, AP/ECE,Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal. The session commenced at 09:30 a.m on 28.02.26 and featured an insightful presentation explaining the fundamentals of smart healthcare monitoring, virtual circuit design, sensor interfacing, and simulation of biomedical parameters such as temperature, heart rate, and patient monitoring alerts. The session emphasized the growing importance of digital prototyping and simulation in modern healthcare technology development.
The Hands-On Training session focused on designing and simulating healthcare monitoring circuits using Tinkercad, including sensor connections, microcontroller programming, data visualization, and system testing. Students actively participated in developing simulated monitoring models under expert guidance. Real-time troubleshooting, system optimization techniques, and practical insights into biomedical device prototyping were also discussed, enhancing students’ understanding of digital healthcare innovation and biomedical engineering applications.
The interactive nature of the program encouraged students to clarify doubts related to simulation tools, healthcare device design, practical applications, and career opportunities in biomedical product development and healthcare technology industries.
The program was highly informative and beneficial, offering students valuable exposure to emerging smart healthcare technologies, and 58 participants benefited from this event.
