ASTA-2k25, National Level Technical Symposium
The Departments of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal organized the National Level Technical Symposium and Workshop “ASTA-2k25” on 20.03.2025, Thursday in the ISDTP Seminar Hall. Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. The function was conducted in the august presence of Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director, Selvam College of Technology.
Dr.A.Jegan, Principal addressed the students. Mrs.R.Bhuvaneshwari, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, welcomed the gathering. The chief guest, Dr.S.Lovelyn Rose, Founder & CEO of Lysa AI., Coimbatore, gave a speech on “AI-driven Applications of AI”.
A workshop on “GenAI to Agentic AI: The Future of Autonomous Intelligence “was conducted by Dr.S.Lovelyn Rose. The students of AI&DS, CSE and IT had a productive and enriching experience during the session. Everyone actively participated in the event and enhanced their skills.The event featured with technical events such as Paper presentation, Project presentation, Code Debugging and Fun Activities.More than 500 students from various colleges enthusiastically attended the symposium and contributed to its success by taking enticing cash prizes.
