Ampere-2k25, National Level Technical Symposium and Project Contest

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal organized a National Level Technical Symposium and Project Contest “AMPERE-2k25” on 14.03.2025, Friday. Dr.P.Selvaraj, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the function. The function was conducted in the august presence of Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions and Mr.M.Karthik, Executive Director, Selvam College of Technology.

Dr.A.Jegan, Principal addressed the students. Mr.M.Ravichandran, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, welcomed the gathering.  The chief guests, Mr. Vasanth Murugan, Founder & CEO of Nitha Aerospace Pvt. Ltd., Salem, Mr. Vikas K Shah, Managing Director of Essvee Wires Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. P. Mahindran, Metallurgist and VP-NPD at Nitha Aerospace Pvt. Ltd., Salem, graced the occasion. They highlighted the importance of renewable energy sources, electric vehicles (E-Vehicles), and battery management systems (BMS). Their emphasis on entrepreneurship provided students with practical guidance on how to innovate, identify opportunities, and build successful ventures in emerging fields like renewable energy and electric mobility.

The event featured technical activities such as paper presentations, poster presentations, project presentations and a technical quiz. Around 400 students from various engineering colleges enthusiastically participated in the symposium, contributing to its success. Winners were awarded enticing cash prizes, adding to the excitement and competitive spirit of the event.
