Flood relief focus turns to cuddalore district.

Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal has extended its support to the flood affected victims by sending materials to cuddalore district on Friday(11.12.2015).The truck carrying necessary materials were flagged off by Chairman Dr.P.Selvaraj, Secretary Dr.B.Kaviethra Nandhini, Principal Dr.R.Prabhu, HOD’s and Faculty Members.

The relief materials were sent to flood-affected areas of cuddalore district, Panruti Taluk, Reddy palaiyam and vassur village areas and it was distributed by faculty members and NSS team of Selvam college of Technology. The materials such as clothes, 5 k.g of rice, bed sheets, wheat, water bottles, biscuits, medicine, mats etc.. were contributed for each family. More than 600 families were benefited by the materials. Students contributed their service to the flood affected people in cuddalore district on behalf of Selvam College of technology.
