58th Engineers’ Day Celebration – 2025

The 57th Engineers’ Day Celebration – 2025 was held on 15.09.2025 at Selvam College
of Technology. Dr. S. Babu, Chairman of Selvam Educational Institutions, presided over the
function, while Dr. P. Kavindra Nandhini, Secretary of Selvam Educational Institutions, Mr. M.
Karthick, Executive Director of Selvam College of Technology, and Dr. S. Ramabalan, Principal,
graced the occasion.
Dr. K. Vidyavathi, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication
Engineering, delivered the welcome address. Ms. Christy Prakash, HR Business Partner and
Administrator of Kendriya School of Human Resource Solutions, attended as the Chief Guest
and addressed the gathering on how to face challenges in the competitive field of engineering
with strong knowledge, effective skills, and a positive attitude.
Following the inaugural session, various technical events such as project model
exhibition, paper presentation, poster presentation, circuit debugging, coding and debugging,
building planning, organo-medics, CAD modelling, genetic circuit decoding, petri-art,
connections, and bio-inspired design were organized for students of all departments.
The Management, Executive Director, Principal, Deans, Heads of Departments, and
Faculty members encouraged the participants and honored them with cash prizes and certificates.
Mr. R. Mohanabharathi, Head of the Department of Information Technology, proposed the vote
of thanks, and the event benefitted more than 1000 students.
